The mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta is to transform the lives of children through professionally supported, one-to-one mentoring relationships with caring, well trained volunteers.

The Arby’s Charity Tour (ACT) is a series of amateur golf tournaments throughout the United States presented by the Arby’s Foundation to benefit its national charity, Big Brothers Big Sisters.
The ACT started in 1996 with a dream and a single event to raise money for Big Brothers Big Sisters and the Arby’s Foundation. Since then, the ACT has raised more than $16 million for youth mentoring programs across the nation. The ACT has produced results that have directly benefited over 45,000 children.
The 2008 ACT was held on March 10 and was a great success. The rock group, Collective Soul, joined forces with Arby’s Foundation and hosted a wonderfully fun pre-event on Sunday, March 9 at Puritan Mill. That event featured a performance by the group and a live and silent auction that totaled approximately $50,000. The entire week – from the Arby’s bus tour to schools and franchises to the tournament – was phenomenal. Overall more than $245,000 was raised! Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta is extremely thankful to the Arby’s Foundation for its support.
The 2009 ACT will be held in March 2009. For more early sponsorship information, please contact Leann Dominy of the Arby's Foundation at (678) 514-5166 or BBBS Special Events Director Magnus Christon at (404) 601-7065.
