Ambassadors

“As ambassadors of Big Brothers Big Sisters and in support of children and their needs, we will raise money, recruit mentors, increase community awareness, and have fun.”

The Ambassadors of Big Brothers Big Sisters is a guild of young professionals that supports the mission of the organization by volunteering at events, involvement with the Bowl For Kids’ Sake program, the Ambassador’s annual fundraiser ‘The Big Event’, and by building relationships with organizations and individuals throughout the Atlantametropolitan community.  Members are selected based on demonstrated leadership, commitment to child welfare, interest in youth mentoring and, most importantly, a positive attitude.  For more information on the group or to inquire about becoming an Ambassador, please contact Rita Owens  , VP of Developmetn & Marketing, at (404) 601-7060 or at Rita.Owens@bbbsatl.org.

The Ambassadors’ annual fundraiser, The Big Event, took place on December 10th at Atlantic Station’s Ten Pin Alley, which helped raise funds and awareness for our mentoring programs while dancing to the dj, meeting other young professionals, bowling in the swank alley, and lots of other exciting activities. Special guests included recording artist, Case and D Woods (from Making the Band and former Pop Group, Danity Kane).
